The Merchant Services Product Manager is responsible for leading a team focused on managing partnerships with payment gateways, fintech companies, and ISV partners. This role oversees product commercialization, partner onboarding, technical integrations, and strategic initiatives to drive revenue growth and expand the enterprise product suite.

 
What You Will Do:
 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers focused on merchant services, payment gateways, and ISV partnerships.
  • Provide coaching and performance management to ensure team success.
  • Define and execute product strategies, including pricing models, revenue-sharing agreements, and profitability analysis.
  • Manage the product line’s P&L, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Drive product strategy development, aligning with business goals and market demands.
  • Guide the team in identifying and evaluating potential vertical solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Establish, formalize, and manage partnership agreements with vertical solution providers.
  • Lead onboarding and integration processes for new partners, ensuring seamless migrations and ongoing technical support.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement product initiatives and integrations.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues related to payment gateway APIs and ensure smooth platform performance.
  • Collaborate with partners to drive joint initiatives, product integrations, and mutual revenue growth.
  • Oversee product commercialization efforts, ensuring internal and external teams are trained on new product features.
  • Foster collaboration across sales, development, marketing, and operations teams to ensure successful product launches.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to develop product marketing materials that effectively communicate the value of payment gateway partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry events and client meetings to strengthen partnerships and explore new opportunities.
 
What You Bring:
 
  • Minimum of 8 years of product management, product commercialization, or related experience within the payments acquiring industry.
  • Deep knowledge of third-party payment gateways, ISVs, and fintech partnerships.
  • Proven experience managing payment gateways.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of coaching and developing team members.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional projects and build consensus across teams.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial strategies, including pricing, revenue-sharing agreements, and profitability analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Figma, Monday.com, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Proven project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
