General Manager — Japanese Fine Dining Concept (Dallas, TX)

A highly respected, chef-driven Japanese restaurant in Dallas is entering an exciting new chapter and is seeking a General Manager to lead the next phase of growth and refinement.

This is a rare opportunity to take the helm of an established, destination dining room with a strong foundation, while partnering with new culinary leadership to elevate the guest experience, service standards, and overall brand presence.

This concept blends traditional Japanese techniques with a modern approach, offering both à la carte and structured dining experiences. The restaurant is now supported by an experienced hospitality group and newly appointed culinary leadership, creating a unique moment for transformation and growth.

The incoming General Manager will play a critical role in shaping this next chapter—driving service excellence, building team alignment, and establishing a consistent, elevated dining experience.


What You’ll Do

  • Lead all front-of-house operations with a strong, visible presence on the floor
  • Elevate and standardize service across all touchpoints
  • Partner closely with the Executive Chef and Director of Operations
  • Build, mentor, and align the service team to a high-performance culture
  • Refine guest experience, pacing, and overall dining room flow
  • Drive consistency, accountability, and attention to detail
  • Foster a culture of hospitality that balances precision with warmth

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven leadership experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager in fine dining
  • Strong floor presence and a passion for guest interaction
  • Experience in tasting menu or highly structured service environments
  • Familiarity with Japanese cuisine and/or kaiseki-style dining preferred
  • Ability to lead through change and build trust with an existing team
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and service-driven
  • A collaborative leadership style with strong communication skills
