Due to growth, our client, a stable, profitable and innovative long-term care pharmacy located in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking an experienced Long Term Care Staff Pharmacist to add to their team.
This is a full-time position in a growing closed-door pharmacy. The person in this role will be responsible for ensuring that all prescriptions are filled according to order and regulations, accurately and in a timely manner. Duties include:
- Receiving and reviewing medication orders
- Dispensing medications to the customer's facilities.
- Interacting with medical staff at the long-term care facilities for order clarification and providing drug information
- IVs and TPN preparation
- Supervising technicians
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have BS in Pharmacy or a Pharm D Degree and be licensed to practice as a Pharmacist in the State of Iowa.
- Must be reliable, self-motivated and performance driven.
- Stable work history, exceptional communication skills and customer service focus a must!
- Experience in a long-term care a plus but not required
