We are hiring for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team. This role will be working with the development of a new Student Information System for our educational organization among other applications. This role will be highly involved in leveraging AI development technologies such as Claude Code for this new development effort. We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer that is leaning into AI and Agentic AI for code development.
Our team is based in Atlanta, GA and we are looking for individuals that are LOCAL TO ATLANTA. We will be building a small, experienced engineering team that will leverage AI to build, test, and deploy business applications for our organization. This role will be very business focused and involve working with key business users so you should have this experience and enjoy not only development and the technical aspect of the role but also enjoy working with the business and solving business problems. We are looking for someone that has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and has ideally worked directly with the users of the applications they have developed.
Location: Atlanta, GA (While this is a Hybrid role - to be considered, you must currently live in Atlanta Ga)
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop AI-driven systems using LLMs and agent-based frameworks
- Collaborate with a small team of Senior Software Engineers
- Contribute hands-on to development
- Partner with Product and business stakeholders
What We’re Looking For?
- Proven Software Engineering experience
- Strong hands-on development background
- More recent experience building or working with AI/ML systems, ideally agent-based or LLM-driven applications
- Strong cloud experience (AWS preferred)
- Backend development experience (Java or Node.js preferred)
Nice to Have:
- Degree in Computer Science
- Experience with system modernization or migrations
