Our client supports complex infrastructure and mission-critical construction projects across the U.S., with a strong focus on planning, scheduling, and execution support. We are seeking a Project Controls Specialist to manage and analyze construction schedules for large-scale projects, including data centers and similar high-complexity environments.


Locations & Travel

This role supports active project sites in Bowling Green, OH; Kansas City, MO; Chattanooga, TN; and Phoenix, AZ.
Candidates must either reside in one of these locations or be open to regular travel to project sites as required.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop, update, and manage Primavera P6 construction schedules

  • Build activity logic from engineering documents, procurement plans, and construction sequencing

  • Collect progress updates and perform critical path and schedule risk analysis

  • Identify delays, float erosion, and potential impacts; recommend recovery strategies

  • Create look-ahead schedules, milestone tracking, and progress reports

  • Coordinate schedules with permitting, utility tie-ins, and material deliveries

  • Participate in project meetings and support stakeholder reporting


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of construction scheduling experience on complex or mission-critical projects

  • Strong hands-on expertise with Primavera P6

  • Solid understanding of construction sequencing and subcontractor coordination

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering and civil drawings

  • Experience with CPM scheduling and schedule performance analysis

  • Proficiency in Excel; reporting tools are a plus

  • PMP or PSP certification preferred
