Application Development Lead / Manager
Team Leadership (50%)
• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 6–8 full stack developers spanning onshore and offshore locations
• Own team delivery — code reviews, task assignment, and quality standards
• Foster a culture of engineering excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance feedback, and career development conversations
• Serve as the primary escalation point for technical blockers and cross-team dependencies
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable development plans
Full Stack Development (50%)
• Design, build, and maintain scalable full stack solutions using C#/.NET and Angular
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs and backend services integrating with SQL Server
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps
• Manage source control workflows and code branching strategies using Git
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS infrastructure
• Leverage Kiro (AI-powered development tooling, built on AWS) to accelerate development velocity
• Participate in and lead architecture discussions, ensuring scalable and maintainable design decisions
• Uphold code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, and documentation
The following are the Required Qualifications for this role:
• Demonstrated experience managing or leading a software development team (this is a screening requirement)
• Comfortable leading blended onshore/offshore teams across time zones
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to balance individual contributor work with people management responsibilities
• Hands-on development of enterprise, production-level software with C#.Net
• Proficient front-end development Angular
• Experience with Git/GitHub
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipeline management and work item tracking
• Familiarity across core AWS services for cloud-native application development
While this role is fully remote, there may be a need to come into our offices at times. We are looking for someone to live in the Eastern or Central time zones. This is a contract to hire role and upon conversion, you would have full benefits including 401K with a company match is provided to you and your family. Our biggest challenge is finding someone who has proficient hands on C#.Net development skills but also has experience managing a development team and processes.
