This is an onsite position is located in Bridgeport, Alabama, near Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Project Controls Specialist to play a critical role in the successful execution of sophisticated, complex construction projects.

You’ll work closely with project managers, contractors, subcontractors, and other key stakeholders to manage schedules, identify potential risks, resolve conflicts, and help keep projects on time and on budget.

What You’ll Do

• Own and manage project schedules – Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar tools.
• Analyze project progress – Track milestones, identify potential delays, and help develop solutions to keep projects on schedule.
• Review project documentation – Evaluate construction drawings, specifications, and other documentation to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Coordinate with project teams – Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to identify and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Support procurement and materials tracking – Monitor procurement activities and material deliveries to help ensure critical deadlines are met.
• Participate in project meetings – Provide scheduling updates, identify potential issues, and document key decisions and action items.
• Prepare progress reports – Develop and distribute weekly reports highlighting project status, milestones, schedule changes, and potential risks.
• Help drive project success – Use data, communication, and problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges and keep complex projects moving forward.

What You Bring to the Table

• 5+ years of experience supporting complex construction projects, preferably in data centers, industrial facilities, manufacturing, or other mission-critical environments.
• Strong understanding of construction scheduling, project controls, drawing review, and subcontractor coordination.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or comparable scheduling software.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, high-pressure construction environment where schedules and deadlines matter.
• PMP or PSP certification is a plus, but not required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Bridgeport, AL.
