Position Overview

We are looking for an Ember.js Frontend Engineer to apply best practices in building and enhancing the user interfaces of our software products. The ideal candidate is passionate about developing in Ember, enjoys collaborating with a team, and takes pride in delivering elegant solutions to complex web and mobile frontend challenges.

This is a fully remote position, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance scalable frontend applications using Ember.js

• Apply frontend best practices to deliver clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver intuitive user experiences

• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize applications for performance and usability

• Integrate RESTful APIs and data services into frontend applications

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to shared engineering standards and team knowledge

• Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure high-quality, reliable releases

• Help evolve frontend architecture, tooling, and development workflows

Requirements

• Proven professional experience in frontend development with strong Ember.js expertise

• Solid proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

• Experience building complex, data-driven web applications

• Familiarity with modern frontend build tools and pipelines

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and frontend/backend integration

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with additional frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

• Knowledge of TypeScript

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Exposure to cloud platforms and modern deployment strategies

• Experience with web or mobile-focused frontend applications
