To keep up with demand, we’re hiring a Director (or Head) of Product Engineering to lead and scale our engineering team through this next chapter.

This is a fully remote position open to U.S.-based candidates.

Why This Role Matters

You’ll play a critical role in shaping our technical strategy and leading the teams that build the core of our product experience. You’ll oversee two agile scrum teams and a QA team—guiding delivery, coaching engineers, and partnering with product and business leaders to align on priorities and deliver results.

You’ll also help evolve how we work: refining our team structure, improving development workflows, and scaling people, processes, and platforms as we grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Own delivery: Drive alignment between product and engineering to deliver high-quality, scalable software

  • Lead the team: Mentor and grow a high-performing group of engineers and QA professionals

  • Improve how we work: Establish and evolve agile practices, delivery rhythms, and development tools

  • Raise the bar: Promote strong standards around testing, performance, and security—especially in a regulated fintech environment

  • Collaborate across functions: Work closely with Product, Ops, and Investments to deliver a seamless experience

  • Scale the org: Help shape hiring, onboarding, and career development to support long-term growth

  • Balance strategy + execution: Guide technical decisions while staying close enough to help unblock teams and drive outcomes

What We’re Looking For

Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of engineering leadership, with at least 2 years at the Director level or above

  • Experience managing full-stack teams and QA in SaaS or fintech environments

  • Strong understanding of agile development and product-engineering collaboration

  • Clear communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills

  • Comfortable navigating a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Bonus Points For:

  • Experience with Ruby, React Native, Vue.js, or Go

  • Familiarity with regulated or security-conscious industries

  • Background in fintech, proptech, or investment platforms

  • A track record of evolving team structure, workflows, or career frameworks
