AV Project Manager
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our operations team. This role supports the planning, coordination, and delivery of AV integration projects. Working alongside senior project management staff, you will help coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Installation, and Service to ensure successful project outcomes. Responsibilities
Project Coordination and Execution
• Assist in developing project plans including scope, schedule, and resource requirements
• Coordinate project activities across Engineering, Installation, and Service teams
• Track project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to support on-time completion
• Monitor project budgets and flag variances to project leadership
• Manage procurement and equipment orders to align with installation schedules
• Support project kickoff meetings and document action items
Team Coordination
• Coordinate schedules between internal teams and external subcontractors
• Communicate project status to internal stakeholders and project leadership
• Track and follow up on open action items across project teams
• Support resource scheduling and conflict resolution
Client Communication
• Support client communication during project execution under guidance of project leadership
• Provide project status updates to clients as assigned
• Document change orders and scope adjustments with proper records
• Coordinate site visits and walk-throughs as directed
Documentation and Process
• Maintain accurate project documentation in CRM and project management systems
• Support quality control processes and QC scorecard compliance
• Assist with project closeout and handoff to Service team
• Document lessons learned to support continuous improvement
Requirements
• 3+ years of project coordination or project management experience, preferably in AV, IT, or construction
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and follow-through
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with project management tools and CRM systems
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines
• Willingness to learn AV technology, unified communications, and low-voltage systems
• CAPM, Project+, or CTS certification is a plus but not required
• Associate or bachelor's degree preferred but not required with relevant experience
