We are seeking an experienced Nortel CS 2100 / Meridian Engineer to support an active migration from a legacy Nortel voice environment to Cisco. This is a highly specialized role requiring hands-on experience with Nortel enterprise voice platforms and practical involvement in large-scale voice transitions.

This role is fully remote and focused on technical execution, planning, and support throughout the migration lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on engineering support for legacy Nortel Meridian / CS 2100 environments

  • Review and validate existing voice configurations and system architecture

  • Assist with dial plan analysis and mapping from Nortel to Cisco

  • Support cutover planning, migration strategy, and transition execution

  • Collaborate with customer engineers and stakeholders during the migration process

  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to legacy Nortel systems during transition

  • Provide guidance and documentation to support a clean handoff to Cisco voice infrastructure

Required Experience

  • Proven, hands-on experience with Nortel Meridian and/or CS 2100 systems

  • Strong background in legacy enterprise voice environments

  • Experience supporting or participating in voice migrations to Cisco

  • Solid understanding of dial plans, call routing, and voice system configurations

  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment

  • Experience supporting healthcare or large enterprise environments is a plus
