We’re supporting a local government IT team in Trenton and looking for a couple of dependable, entry-level IT professionals to step in and help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their IT career who wants steady work, hands-on experience, and exposure to a structured environment.
What you’ll be doing
- Provide basic desktop support for hardware and software issues
- Assist with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting workstations and applications
- Support printer setup and troubleshooting
- Enter and maintain data in internal systems and databases
- Answer phones, respond to requests, and route issues to the right team members
- Provide friendly, professional support to internal staff
- Help keep work areas and equipment organized
- Assist with general administrative and IT support tasks as needed
What we’re looking for
- Some hands-on experience with desktop support or IT help desk work
- Basic understanding of Windows environments and common applications
- Comfortable troubleshooting PCs, printers, and standard office tech
- Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow direction in a structured environment
- Willingness to learn and take on a variety of tasks
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM
- Occasional after-hours or weekend work may come up for special projects
Assignment details
- Onsite in Trenton, NJ
- Project-based work with expected assignments ranging from 3 to 6 months, with potential to extend up to 12 months
