We are seeking an experienced Engineer with a strong consulting background to lead the migration of a customer's unified communications platform from Cisco to Microsoft Teams. The ideal candidate will be able to interact directly with the end client, providing technical expertise, setting expectations, and offering regular status updates. This role will involve working closely with a project management team and overseeing the technical aspects of the migration from an engineering perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the migration of up to 1500 users from Cisco to Microsoft Teams for calling.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure seamless integration.
• Engage with the client during the discovery, design, and scoping phases to define and document requirements.
• Assist with data collection and discovery to expedite the project.
• Set clear expectations with the client, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns.
• Ensure that Microsoft Teams is enabled for inbound and outbound dialing across the user base.
• Offer hands-on technical leadership and guidance through the entire project lifecycle.

Required Experience:

• Strong consulting experience with a focus on unified communications.
• Proven ability to lead client engagements, set expectations, and provide technical solutions.
• Expertise in Microsoft Teams migrations, including telephony integration.
• Experience working with enterprise-level clients and project teams.
• Ability to provide hands-on technical direction and oversight for large-scale deployments.
• Strong communication skills, with an ability to interact with both technical teams and business stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience with Cisco Unified Communications platforms and Microsoft Teams integration.
• Familiarity with telephony solutions and Teams Calling Plans.
• Project management experience or exposure to working with project management teams.
