We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the architecture and design of a large public sector Salesforce implementation supporting a statewide child care assistance program and human services call center modernization initiative. This role will oversee the end-to-end Salesforce architecture and provide technical leadership to delivery teams responsible for implementing case management, citizen engagement, and analytics capabilities.

The architect will work closely with program stakeholders, delivery teams, and system integrators to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end Salesforce architecture strategy for the platform implementation
• Define architecture blueprints covering business processes, data architecture, integration strategy, and security models
• Design and implement multi-cloud Salesforce solutions using Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, and Tableau
• Establish technical standards, architecture guardrails, and governance processes for the implementation
• Review and approve architectural decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture frameworks
• Design integration strategies between Salesforce and external systems using APIs and middleware
• Guide development teams on best practices for scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions
• Support architectural review processes and participate in architecture review boards
• Evaluate technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and platform best practices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of Salesforce architecture and solution design experience
• At least 2 years of experience working in enterprise or government environments
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Salesforce Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, OmniStudio, Data Cloud, MuleSoft, or Tableau
• Minimum 3 years of experience with Salesforce development technologies including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and Flow
• Experience designing complex Salesforce environments including multi-org or multi-tenant architectures
• Experience designing and implementing Salesforce integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
• Experience working within the Salesforce Well-Architected Framework

Certifications

• Salesforce Certified Application Architect (required)
