Field Support Engineer
We are looking for Field Support IT Engineers in the Albuquerque area to provide hands-on, onsite IT support across multiple client locations. This role is ideal for a dependable, customer-facing technician who enjoys being in the field, solving problems in real time, and supporting both end users and senior engineers.
Responsibilities

Perform proactive onsite visits to client offices

Provide break/fix support for office technologies

Deliver hands-on desktop and end-user support

Assist senior engineers with server, network, and infrastructure work during onsite engagements

Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues

Perform equipment swaps, installs, and basic configurations

Document work performed and communicate updates clearly to internal teams

Maintain a professional, customer-friendly presence onsite
Required Qualifications

2+ years of field-based IT support or similar hands-on technical experience

Strong troubleshooting skills across desktops, laptops, peripherals, and basic networking

Comfortable working independently in client environments

Reliable personal vehicle and ability to travel locally between sites

Strong communication skills and a service-oriented mindset

Ability to lift and move IT equipment as needed
Preferred Experience

Exposure to servers, networking, or infrastructure support

Experience assisting engineers during onsite installs or remediation work

MSP or multi-client support experience

Familiarity with ticketing systems and basic documentation practices
Additional Details

This is a 40-hour per week role

Contract engagement with the potential for conversion to full-time
