We are seeking a Technology Services Technician to support a major healthcare organization in Stony Brook, NY. This is a hands on desktop support role providing technical assistance to end users while supporting ongoing IT projects across the hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Image, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows PCs, laptops, and other endpoint devices
- Install, upgrade, and patch Windows, iOS, and Android devices
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, operating system, and peripheral issues
- Install, configure, and support network printers
- Provide onsite and remote support for end users
- Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and Office
- Deploy software updates using enterprise deployment tools
- Participate in IT projects including workstation deployments and office relocations
- Maintain accurate documentation and update service tickets
- Evaluate and test new hardware and software solutions
- Work closely with technical teams and end users to ensure successful project delivery
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of desktop support or end user support experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills with Windows 10/11 environments
- Experience imaging and deploying desktop and laptop systems
- Experience supporting Microsoft 365 applications
- Experience installing and troubleshooting network printers
- Familiarity with mobile device support (iOS and Android)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work under desks, and climb ladders as needed
- Must be able to work onsite in Stony Brook, NY
Preferred
- Experience supporting healthcare environments
- Experience with SCCM, MECM, Intune, or similar deployment tools
- Experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration
