We're looking for a reliable, customer focused IT Support Technician to provide onsite technical support at our client's primary location in Pennsauken, NJ. This is a long term, part time contract supporting a growing organization as it continues to expand through acquisition.

You'll serve as the primary onsite IT resource, assisting end users with desktop support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and coordinating with remote engineering teams when advanced support is required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite desktop and end user support for Windows workstations and laptops
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and peripheral issues
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, and Office
  • Assist with user account administration in Active Directory and Microsoft 365
  • Perform basic network troubleshooting including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and connectivity issues
  • Provide first level support for Cisco, Fortinet, or similar network equipment
  • Install, configure, and replace desktop hardware and peripherals
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and work performed in the ticketing system
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers while maintaining communication with end users
  • Assist with routine maintenance, equipment deployments, and technology refresh projects
  • Maintain a professional onsite presence while delivering outstanding customer service

Required Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of IT support or help desk experience
  • Strong Windows 10/11 desktop support experience
  • Experience supporting Microsoft 365 and Active Directory
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and VLANs
  • Experience troubleshooting PCs, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
  • Familiarity with VMware, Hyper V, Azure, or AWS
  • Exposure to Cisco, Fortinet, or Arista networking equipment
  • Basic PowerShell or scripting experience
  • Knowledge of ITIL incident management practices

Preferred Certifications

  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+
  • Microsoft Fundamentals (Azure or Microsoft 365)
  • Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST)
  • CCNA
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Fortinet certifications
