Fortinet Configuration Engineer

We are seeking a Fortinet Configuration Expert for a short-term engagement with a major organization in Montreal. The consultant will play a critical role in rebuilding, configuring, and stabilizing the organization’s network environment.

This is a full-time assignment 

Key Responsibilities

• Rebuild the network configuration in alignment with the designed architecture

• Collaborate with ISP providers to debug and stabilize internet uplinks at a new location

• Configure and optimize Fortinet network components

• Stabilize, maintain, and support the network and related infrastructure

• Provide knowledge transfer to permanent staff at the conclusion of the engagement

• (Optional/Bonus) Perform cabling or patching if required

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven expertise in Fortinet configuration (firewalls, VPN, routing, switching)

• Strong understanding of enterprise network design and troubleshooting

• Experience working directly with ISPs to resolve connectivity issues

• Ability to stabilize complex network environments and provide reliable support

• Strong communication skills in English; fluency in French is highly preferred

• Professional presence and ability to work seamlessly under client direction
