A well-established precision machining and tooling environment in the Toledo area is adding experienced CNC machinists to their team.

This is a direct-hire opportunity within a smaller, highly skilled shop supporting tooling, fixture, and custom-machined components for automotive and commercial manufacturing applications. The team is seeking machinists who enjoy hands-on setup work and precision machining rather than production-only environments.

Qualified candidates will have experience working with CNC mills and/or lathes and be comfortable reading blueprints, making offsets, and supporting setup-level machining work.

Responsibilities

• Perform setup and operation of CNC mill and/or lathe equipment
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Make offsets and adjustments as needed
• Machine precision components to specification
• Support tooling, fixture, and custom machining projects
• Work collaboratively within a small-team machining environment

Preferred Experience

• CNC mill and/or lathe setup experience
• Job shop, tooling, or prototype machining experience preferred
• Strong blueprint reading skills
• Experience working to tight tolerances
• Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Mazak, Okuma, or similar controls is helpful
• Tool & die or fixture machining experience is a plus
