Production Planner
Location: Provo, UT
Schedule: On-site | Monday through Friday

This is your chance to join a fast-scaling food manufacturer that has added two new production sites in the past three years — and isn’t slowing down. With a fourth facility on the horizon, we’re growing rapidly and need strong, detail-oriented people who thrive in dynamic manufacturing environments. Our culture values team players, problem-solvers, and doers who want to help build something long-term

Responsibilities

  • Build daily and weekly production plans that align with customer demand, plant capacity, and material availability
  • Adjust and revise schedules as priorities shift — managing changes in demand, downtime, or supply chain constraints
  • Communicate schedules clearly to production teams and work with them to improve efficiency and minimize changeovers
  • Monitor raw material and packaging levels with the procurement team to flag shortages and avoid delays
  • Track production planning KPIs and report key metrics to the scheduling manager
  • Participate in daily operations meetings and help solve bottlenecks that slow output or compromise efficiency
  • Assist with coverage or long-term planning efforts as a backup scheduler when needed
  • Maintain alignment with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent hands-on experience will be strongly considered
  •  3–5+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong Excel capabilities (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, formulas, etc.)
  •  Experience with ERP systems is required
  • Able to juggle shifting priorities without losing sight of the bigger picture
  • Clear communicator who keeps stakeholders aligned and informed
  • 100% in person role

Perks:

  • Salary range: 75K – 95K + bonus
  • Private equity-backed company with a multi-year investment plan in facility growth and automation
  • Be part of a stable, established operation that’s upgrading systems without the chaos
  • You won’t just follow orders — you’ll help shape them.
  • This role is essential in supporting seven constantly changing production lines and maintaining a high level of efficiency and on-time fulfillment.
  • You’ll work side-by-side with the Supply Chain Manager to ensure operations are informed, aligned, and ready to scale.
  • It’s a great fit for someone who thrives in complexity and wants their work to make a visible impact every day.
