- Pay is up to $95,000 annually based on experience level
- High growth potential for this newly created position and backup to the Quality Manager

This full-time Senior Quality Engineer career opportunity is a strategic, high-visibility addition to the team. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
- Manage full-lifecycle quality assurance from initial design through fine-blanking and delivery, ensuring elite standards for high-precision components
- Architect advanced quality control plans and inspection procedures for new and existing product lines, acting as the technical authority for the site
- Serve as the Site Metrology SME, overseeing scientific measurement applications and ensuring 100% accuracy and traceability across the floor
- Drive permanent process resolutions by leading complex root cause investigations and CAPA using 8D, 5-Whys, and Fishbone methodologies
- Utilize SPC and Minitab data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and serve as the primary technical interface for customer quality inquiries
The background of the successful candidate must include the following:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- 5+ years of progressive Quality Engineering experience; background in IATF 16949 or AS9100 is a major competitive advantage
- Technical mastery of SPC, FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP processes
- Hands-on expertise in metrology and the application of measurement standards for precision metal parts
- A "leadership-ready" mindset with the ability to manage high-priority projects and the desire to transition into Quality Management
- Residency within a 45-minute drive of the Cottage Grove / Madison, WI area
