  • Author automation programs spanning PLC, HMI, and robotic platforms
  • Collaborate with mechanical designers, drafters, and technicians throughout the build cycle
  • Engage directly with end-users during design reviews, commissioning, and acceptance testing
  • Uphold quality and continuous improvement standards in all engineering activities
  • Apply Lean and Industry 4.0 principles to streamline design and build processes

Required Skills & Technical Expertise

  • Proficiency in industrial electrical systems design and applicable codes and standards
  • Hands-on experience with PLC and motion control platforms, including ladder logic and structured text programming
  • HMI development and human factors design

  • Control panel hardware design, layout, and specification
  • High-level programming languages (e.g., C#, Visual Basic, or equivalent)
  • IT/OT network architecture and industrial communication protocols
  • SQL-based manufacturing data systems and historian platforms
  • CAD tools for electrical schematic design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or equivalent)

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of hands-on controls engineering experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment preferred
