Technical Sales Engineer — Northeast Territory

We are looking for a driven and innovative Sales Engineer to join our team in the Northeast.
 
This is not a traditional sales role—you are a technical problem-solver, a trusted advisor, and a key driver of our growth.

What you'll do
 
As a Sales Engineer, you will own the full sales cycle in your assigned territory, from prospecting to closing. You'll use your technical expertise to become an indispensable partner to our clients, helping them solve complex challenges.
  • Become a Solution Architect: You will work directly with clients to understand their unique industrial automation challenges and design tailored solutions using our comprehensive suite of technologies, including:
    • Motion Control, Robotics, and Mechatronics
    • Power Transmission
    • Safety Sensors
    • Vision Systems
    • Hydraulics and Pneumatics
    • Full System Solutions offerings
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Forge deep, consultative relationships with new and existing customers through direct, person-to-person interaction. You will earn their trust by consistently delivering innovative, effective, and reliable engineering solutions.
  • Drive Growth: Actively manage your account portfolio, identify new business opportunities, prepare compelling technical proposals, and negotiate deals that drive revenue and market share.
  • Stay at the Cutting-Edge: Continuously enhance your product knowledge by attending ongoing training sessions. You will be our eyes and ears in the market, providing critical customer and trend feedback to inform our product innovation.
  • Champion Team Collaboration: Work side-by-side with a supportive team, sharing knowledge and celebrating wins together. Your input and insights will be a vital part of our collective success.
 
What you'll bring:
  • A natural builder: You are an entrepreneurial self-starter with a "get stuff done" attitude. You possess a relentless resolve to win, grow your territory, and build strong partnerships.
  • Technical expertise: You have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent work experience and 1–5 years of relevant industry experience. A strong aptitude for technical concepts and problem-solving is essential.
  • Proven sales skills: You have a track record of consultative selling, assessing customer needs, and closing orders. Experience with industrial or manufacturing clients is a plus.
  • Exceptional communicator: You are adept at translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling, and actionable information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Territory coverage: You are able to travel and provide coverage for your assigned Northeast territory (including ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, and CT).
