Position Summary:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing the flow of incoming and outgoing goods and will serve as the primary contact for order fulfillment. This role will manage key supply chain functions including inventory planning, order expediting, demand forecasting, supplier coordination, purchasing activity, and logistics execution. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, external vendors, freight partners, and our international manufacturing group to ensure materials are available when needed, shipments are properly coordinated, and customer commitments are met. This position plays a critical role in improving operational efficiency, reducing costs and maintaining accurate inventory levels.
Responsibilities:
· Leadership and operational support of the warehouse, purchasing and shipping team
· Planning and supervision of inventories, including new measures to improve forecasting accuracy
· Managing purchasing activities and supplier relations, including components supply, secondary operations, packaging, and freight and logistics services
· Heavy concentration on order fulfillment and on-time delivery.
· Data preparation, including developing new reports and KPI’s
· Support in the development of the overall supply chain strategy
Required Qualifications:
· Four-year degree in supply chain management or related field such as business administration, management, or industrial engineering
· 5+ years of manufacturing sector experience in supply chain, logistics or process management
· Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP a plus)
· Willingness to travel to Germany for training
· Strong verbal and written communication skills (German language a plus)
