As a leading automation solutions provider, we are seeking a sales professional with a technical background to join our team. This role manages an established territory with significant growth potential, focusing on delivering high-end technical components and systems to a diverse client base. 
 
Duties
  • Provide technical support to new and existing customers by demonstrating product applications and benefits.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct needs-analysis discovery sessions to determine specific customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales calls, leads, and activities within the CRM database.
  • Prospect for new clients through cold calling, networking, and lead follow-up.
  • Consult with customers to identify automation challenges and propose effective technical solutions from our product portfolio.
  • Develop and deliver professional presentations showcasing technical products and services.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, technical seminars, and conferences.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals by addressing customer technical concerns and objections.
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and support teams to ensure optimal customer outcomes.
 
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of industrial automation principles and applications.
  • Proven experience in identifying customer needs and proposing integrated technical solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite; experience with major CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and passionate about technical sales.
  • Ability to learn quickly and stay current with rapidly evolving industry trends.
  • Experience selling to industrial, municipal, OEM, or food processing sectors is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
