Labor & Employment Associate Attorney - Class Action 

Locations: Texas (Austin, Dallas, or Houston)

 

Our client, a prominent AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level or Senior Associate Attorney to join their Labor and Employment Class Action Group in Texas. This hybrid position is available in the Austin, Dallas, or Houston offices.

 

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in Texas.
  • 4–6 years of substantive experience in employment or class action litigation, with a desire for trial work.
  • Experience defending employment discrimination, EEOC/DOL, wage and hour claims, including class action lawsuits.
  • Background in counseling employers on federal and state employment law compliance, drafting workplace policies, and assisting clients with general employment issues is a plus.
  • Superior legal research, writing, and analytical skills.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Defend employers in complex employment litigation, including wage and hour class actions and discrimination claims.
  • Counsel clients on compliance with federal and Texas employment laws and regulations.
  • Draft and prepare workplace policies, employment agreements, and severance agreements.
  • Represent clients in depositions, witness interviews, and trial preparations.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on high-profile employment cases.
