Supply Chain Manager

We’re looking for someone to take charge of our supply chain operations, focusing on managing inventory, supplier relationships, and maintaining our internal systems to ensure smooth production processes. This role is key to keeping our operations efficient, cost-effective, and compliant.

What You’ll Do

  • Keep Our Systems Accurate: Make sure our planning system stays updated with product demands, supplier lead times, and costs.
  • Manage Inventory: Balance stock levels to avoid shortages, minimize waste, and keep inventory costs low.
  • Track Performance: Report on important metrics like inventory trends and supplier delivery times.
  • Work with Suppliers: Negotiate contracts, source new suppliers, and make sure they deliver on quality, price, and timing.
  • Support New Projects: Help with material needs for launching new products or improving existing processes.
  • Solve Problems: Quickly address any supply chain or inventory issues that might disrupt production.
  • Improve Processes: Continuously find ways to make our supply chain more efficient and cost-effective.
  • Lead a Team: Manage and develop your team with clear goals, regular feedback, and performance reviews.

What You Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (a degree in supply chain management is a plus).
  • At least five years of experience in a manufacturing environment, especially one with quality standards like ISO.
  • Proven success managing purchasing, inventory, and supplier relationships.
  • Familiarity with tools like ERP systems, Kanban, and other lean manufacturing practices.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work well with teams across the company.
  • Experience with global suppliers (experience in Asia is a bonus).
  • Professional certifications like APICS or ISM are a plus.
