Wealth Management Business Development Officer

Our Client is a full‑service commercial bank headquartered in Massachusetts proudly serving individuals, families, and businesses throughout New England. This financial institution is highly regarded and offers a broad range of Banking, Commercial Lending and Wealth Management/Trust solutions.

The Bank is looking for a Wealth Management Business Development Officer (Commercial Financial Consultant). The successful CFC is an outgoing individual who is well connected in Southern NH (Salem, Nashua & surrounding area) and neighboring MA North Shore communities (Lowell, Tewksbury & surrounding area). The Business Developer will work closely with the Commercial Lending Team for leads to business owners, Non-Profit organizations and other COIs (Attorneys & CPAs) to prospect/develop new business referrals. The successful individual will also self-source new business through networking and community involvement.

The Investment Group services include private client investment management, 401k/employer offered retirement plans and insurance product coverage. This is a “quarterback role” that brings the Bank’s Wealth Management value proposition to the market/potential clients and coordinates internal SMEs (Portfolio Managers, Trust Officers, Financial Planning Professionals, Employer Retirement and Insurance Specialists) to educate new business prospects. Once a client is onboarded, a Relationship Manager is assigned for day-to-day account management.

The ideal candidate has past proven sales success, enjoys community involvement, has strong referral networks and is a team player that partners well with internal and external colleagues. A minimum of 7-30+ years of experience. The successful CFC will be provided a competitive compensation plan with incentives and will potentially earn $150k-$300k+. A CFP, Trust experience or other relevant licenses would be helpful in this role.
