What your day to day looks like:
Responsibilities
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously that successfully meet all customer requirements
· Set up customer accounts, fill out vendor forms, and review customer contracts
· Enter purchase orders into ERP system with accurate and detailed order notes
· Provide shipment tracking information to sales/customer when order ships
· Receive sales order packet and create a project checklist of all on-site delivery requirements
· Review open orders to monitor progress and provide status updates to sales/customer
· Investigate carrier delivery delays and material shortage claims, and resolve accordingly
· Spearhead cross-departmental project launch meetings to define timelines and clarify responsibilities
· Use GANTT-style project sheets to foresee potential future roadblocks and respond proactively
· Receive design change requests and arrange on-site assistance with technical/sales to resolve
· Provide auxiliary service for national or regional account
Requirements
· Minimum Associates degree in Project Management/Engineering/Business, or equivalent experience
· 3+ years relevant experience working in Project Management, Procurement, or Inside Sales
· Project Management skills – GANTT chart experience, highly organized, good record keeping
· Communication skills –clear and professional communication (written and verbal)
· Computer skills – PM/ERP software experience, Microsoft Office Suite
