Controls Engineer

Controls Engineer (100-120K) 

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to work for a World Class Manufacturer near the Oneida, NY area.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design machine control systems using AutoCAD. Sizing and selection of VFD’s, filters, motors, protection devices, PLC’s, HMI’s.
• Edit, modify, and program Allen Bradley PLC’s.
• Manage the installation and commissioning of machinery (30% travel to local facilities).
• Provide technical support to maintenance (troubleshooting and upgrades).

Education and Experience:

• BSEE, BSEET, BS in Mechatronics or related and 5+ years of experience. Will also consider multiple years of equivalent experience in lieu of formal degree.
• Experience with PLC’s, HMI’s and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with National Electrical Code and machine safety standard.
• Candidates must be eligible to work in US without restriction indefinitely.
