Anesthesiology Physician

Our Health System is currently seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join four other board-certified anesthesiologists with additional support from CRNA’s and AA’s. Two anesthesiologists per shift. 

• Salary: Guaranteed salary is competitive and commensurate with experience
• Schedule: Monday through Friday; Start at 6:30AM and have a rotate off schedule as cases/rooms close; weeknight anesthesia call required.
• Call: 1-in-8 rotating call schedule Monday through Friday; no weekend call; home call is allowed.

• Cases:

  • Bread and Butter general anesthesia cases performed (nerve blocks, A-lines, epidurals, etc.)
  • We do not perform cardiac or neurosurgery cases.
  • 8-9 starts a day
  • 700 cases a month (~200 of those is endoscopies)
  • OB services (~750 deliveries a year)
  • Lots of robotic cases; state-of-the-art medical equipment/technology (4 Da Vinci 5 Surgical Robots, the Mako Robot, C-arm, etc.)

Requirements:

• Completion or upcoming completion of Anesthesiology residency
• Required Certifications/Licensures: Board certified physician or board certification eligible (if eligible, must obtain board certification within 5 years)
• Georgia Medical License or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact
