Your Role as a Maintenance Technician
As the Maintenance Technician, you’ll ensure the smooth and safe operation of critical packaging equipment and facility systems. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on packaging equipment, feeders, conveyors, boilers, sensors, and other critical systems.
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
- Operating forklifts to handle and move equipment as needed.
- Completing and documenting preventive maintenance schedules using technology, such as iPads, to log safety updates and work orders.
- Assisting with annual maintenance and responding to emergency repairs as necessary.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
What We’re Looking For
Experience and Skills
- Minimum of 3+ years in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.
- Expertise in conveyor/packaging equipment, mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, and pneumatic systems
- Familiarity with tools and technology for tracking and reporting maintenance activities and work orders.
- Technical certifications in maintenance or related fields are a plus but not required.
Physical and Compliance Requirements
- Ability to lift 50lbs, move, and handle equipment safely.
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
- Ability to pass a drug screening and pre-employment physical.
