Your Role as a Maintenance Technician

As the Maintenance Technician, you’ll ensure the smooth and safe operation of critical packaging equipment and facility systems. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on packaging equipment, feeders, conveyors, boilers, sensors, and other critical systems.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime.
  • Operating forklifts to handle and move equipment as needed.
  • Completing and documenting preventive maintenance schedules using technology, such as iPads, to log safety updates and work orders.
  • Assisting with annual maintenance and responding to emergency repairs as necessary.
  • Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
  • Adhering to safety protocols and operational guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.

 

What We’re Looking For

Experience and Skills

  • Minimum of 3+ years in a maintenance technician role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in food production.
  • Expertise in conveyor/packaging equipment, mechanical systems, electrical diagnostics, and pneumatic systems
  • Familiarity with tools and technology for tracking and reporting maintenance activities and work orders.
  • Technical certifications in maintenance or related fields are a plus but not required.

Physical and Compliance Requirements

  • Ability to lift 50lbs, move, and handle equipment safely.
  • Valid driver’s license with no restrictions.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and pre-employment physical.
