We’re hiring a Quality Control Specialist for Eclipse Co, LLC, a respected heavy civil contractor based in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. This role plays a key part in ensuring construction products and installations meet company standards, contract requirements, and client expectations—before, during, and after installation.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the project management team to develop and implement Quality Assurance plans

Provide supervision, mentoring, and guidance to the quality assurance team

Lead process reviews, recommend improvements, and help implement change across departments

Ensure project management systems are used effectively in support of a PM-led organization

Organize and facilitate monthly status meetings and resource capacity meetings
-
Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
-
Communicate project developments and quality issues to stakeholders
-
Read and interpret blueprints, system design documents, and contract specifications
-
Support resolution of quality-related issues within active projects

Travel to project sites as required (approximately 75–90%)
Ideal Candidate
-
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

3–5 years of experience supporting civil construction projects

Strong understanding of scheduling and quality processes

Experience with Time Impact Analysis

Ability to communicate effectively with field teams, leadership, and clients

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management
-
Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively
