We’re hiring a Quality Control Specialist for Eclipse Co, LLC, a respected heavy civil contractor based in Chagrin Falls, Ohio. This role plays a key part in ensuring construction products and installations meet company standards, contract requirements, and client expectations—before, during, and after installation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the project management team to develop and implement Quality Assurance plans

  • Provide supervision, mentoring, and guidance to the quality assurance team

  • Lead process reviews, recommend improvements, and help implement change across departments

  • Ensure project management systems are used effectively in support of a PM-led organization

  • Organize and facilitate monthly status meetings and resource capacity meetings

  • Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting

  • Communicate project developments and quality issues to stakeholders

  • Read and interpret blueprints, system design documents, and contract specifications

  • Support resolution of quality-related issues within active projects

  • Travel to project sites as required (approximately 75–90%)

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management

  • 3–5 years of experience supporting civil construction projects

  • Strong understanding of scheduling and quality processes

  • Experience with Time Impact Analysis

  • Ability to communicate effectively with field teams, leadership, and clients

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management

  • Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively
