REGIONAL SUPERINTENDENT/PROJECT MANAGER – SAN DIEGO

Compensation: $125,000–$150,000 base salary, plus performance-based bonus, vehicle allowance, and gas/mileage reimbursement

ParkerBeth Search Partners is recruiting a Regional Superintendent/Project Manager for a long-established Southern California contractor specializing in HOA, multifamily, commercial painting, and reconstruction.

This is a hands-on regional Superintendent role for someone who can manage multiple active projects, strengthen field accountability, and build trust with HOA boards, property managers, consultants, and owners. The right person will combine strong project-management discipline with practical field judgment and the ability to improve regional performance.

The company has operated since 1974 and is modernizing its operational structure. Leadership is investing in stronger systems, clearer accountability, and experienced operators who can help scale the business without sacrificing service quality or profitability.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Manage multiple painting, reconstruction, and repair projects

• Review contracts, scopes, budgets, schedules, and project requirements

• Build and maintain schedules, manpower plans, phasing, and site logistics

• Coordinate estimating turnover into production

• Conduct regular site visits and hold crews accountable

• Serve as a primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle

• Track labor performance, project cost, billing, and gross margin

• Identify and secure change orders before added work proceeds

• Resolve schedule, quality, and client issues quickly

• Manage punch lists, final inspections, warranty items, and closeout

• Strengthen regional consistency, communication, and accountability

WHAT YOU BRING

• Seven or more years of superintendent/PM experience

• Painting, reconstruction, restoration, or specialty-trade background

• HOA, multifamily, or occupied-property project experience

• Strong scheduling, manpower-planning, and field-leadership skills

• Proven financial ownership of project cost and gross margin

• Experience managing multiple active projects or a regional portfolio

• Strong client communication with boards and property managers

• Proven change-order management and documentation

• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred

• Valid driver’s license and regular San Diego County travel availability

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• Base salary: $125,000–$150,000, depending on experience

• Performance bonus target of approximately 5%
