District Sales Manager

Location: Corpus Christi / The Valley (Laredo)

Position Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Role Summary

The District Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales results across a defined geographical district. This role involves developing and executing strategic sales plans, leading a sales team, building strong customer relationships, and contributing to business growth through effective territory management and revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team to consistently achieve sales targets.

Create and implement strategic sales plans aligned with growth objectives.

Forecast sales performance and set performance goals for the district.

Analyze market conditions, customer needs, pricing, and competitive landscape to inform policy and strategy.

Deliver presentations to key clients and negotiate agreements to secure business.

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure cohesive sales execution and customer satisfaction.

Prepare periodic sales reports on performance, opportunities, and expansion areas.

Monitor and evaluate competitor activities to adjust strategies.

Manage district budgets and expenditures as needed.

Travel within the district as required (often significant travel).

Qualifications

 

Significant sales management experience, ideally in a field sales or territory leadership role.

Strong technical aptitude and industry knowledge relevant to the products/services being sold.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Ability to analyze data, interpret market trends, and make strategic decisions.

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.

Travel & Physical Requirements

 

Up to ~50 % travel throughout the district.

Extended periods of time may be spent in a stationary position (office or in transit).
