We are seeking a full-time Client Services Assistant to join a growing services organization in Indianapolis. This Entry Level role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys supporting sales teams, building relationships, and delivering exceptional customer service.
This position serves as a key point of contact for agents and internal teams, ensuring inquiries are handled efficiently while providing administrative, marketing, and relationship support to the sales organization.
What You’ll Do as a Client Service Assistant:
As a Client Service Assistant, you will act as the front-line support for agents and internal partners. You will help manage inbound inquiries, coordinate responses across departments, and provide marketing and administrative support that helps maintain strong relationships with distribution partners.
Client Service Assistant Duties Include:
- Professionally answering inbound calls and emails from agents, partners, and consumers
- Triaging and routing requests to the appropriate internal departments
- Responding to routine questions and escalating complex inquiries when needed
- Clearly explaining product features, benefits, and state variations to agents
- Researching agent inquiries and coordinating solutions across internal teams
- Tracking and following up on requests to ensure timely and accurate resolution
- Building strong working relationships with agents and distribution partners
- Coordinating welcome calls for newly appointed agents
- Preparing and distributing marketing and sales materials
- Processing marketing illustrations and quotes requested by agents
- Supporting marketing initiatives such as direct mail, advertising, and campaigns
- Assisting with the coordination of agent seminars, events, and engagement initiatives
- Providing administrative support related to marketing and sales operations
- 0-2 years of experience in a customer service, sales support, or administrative role
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional phone presence
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Customer-service mindset with the ability to explain complex information clearly
- Ability to collaborate across teams and build professional relationships
- Experience with CRM systems and standard office software preferred
