Manufacturing Engineer Position Summary:
This role is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating, and implementing manufacturing engineering projects involving complex mechanical systems. The engineer will work closely with cross‑functional teams to improve production line performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Manufacturing Engineer Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design and develop mechanical systems and components for automated production lines.
- Ensure seamless integration of mechanical components with automation and control systems.
- Perform engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to optimize mechanical designs.
- Participate in material selection, supplier evaluation, and manufacturing process decisions.
- Conduct testing and validation to ensure mechanical systems meet quality and performance standards.
- Diagnose mechanical or hydraulic issues and develop solutions to reduce production downtime.
- Drive continuous improvement activities to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reliability.
Manufacturing Engineer Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in mechanical engineering, preferably within an automated manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical design.
