The HVAC Field Service Technician is responsible for the activities associated with general service tasks located at assigned facilities under contract and serviced by the company.  This role will maintain a strong, positive relationship with contract customers displaying competent knowledge of customer’s facilities and companies contracted services as well as other additional service offerings.  Follow daily service plan as well as address additional customer issues, follows through with their requests, and ensures effective and long-term problem resolution.  Prepare service reports, maintenance SOPs, and cost proposals.

Field Service Technician Specific Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with Service Manager and perform general maintenance tasks such as filter change out and certification, Instrument calibrations, and service according to customer specifications and contract agreements.
• Provide strong customer service and follow through with customer requests.
• Presents solid understanding of all product lines, its equipment, concepts, and procedures.
• Perform preventive maintenance, site surveys, and modifications as requested by customers.
• Determine parts needed for repairs and timeliness of need.
• Assist in coordination and quotation of service orders as required to make repairs as needed for customers.
• Prepares service reports and documentation of work performed and recognizes any need of future work required.
• Provided strong communication and reporting to management relating ongoing work plan and future/long term needs of the contract. 

Field Service Technician Qualifications:

• Skilled trades background, HVAC experience preferred. 
• Solid understanding of electrical systems and systems design, project management skills and good time-management, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
