About the Role

Pro Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician A for a Polymer Recycling Center, established in March 2025. This is a ground-floor opportunity to join a growing operation and make a real impact from the start. You'll keep sorting, grinding, washing, and baling equipment running safely and efficiently, and be trusted to work independently on complex mechanical and electrical problems.

Schedule

• Shift: 2-2-3 rotation, night shift 5:45pm-6:15am
• Flexibility for off-hours support during emergency downtime situations when your specific skills are needed

What You'll Do

• Maintain advanced working knowledge of all Polymer Center equipment — mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Perform repairs and maintenance on conveyors, screens, balers, grinders, and related machinery
• Troubleshoot and repair complex electromechanical equipment independently, safely and efficiently
• Prioritize tasks and manage your own workload without close supervision
• Complete field service reports and manage work orders
• Conduct preventative maintenance according to established schedules
• Install and set up new equipment; coordinate with vendors on maintenance schedules
• Follow all safety policies and procedures

What You Bring

• 5 years of electrical experience, including the ability to read electrical schematics
• 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar industry
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and conveyors
• Strong troubleshooting skills across both electrical and mechanical systems
• A self-starter mindset with the resourcefulness to solve problems on the fly
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
• A team player who works well with others
• Preferred: experience with welding, PLC troubleshooting, and a valid driver's license
• Preferred: background in recycling centers or polymer processing
• Mechanical, electrical, or trade school certificate is a plus
