What You’ll Do
In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted technical expert at customer sites, delivering high-level electrical and multi-craft maintenance support. You’ll troubleshoot, repair, and optimize complex systems while building strong relationships with customers and teammates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair electrical systems (24V–480V, 3-phase, motors, drives, PLCs)
- Perform both preventive maintenance and break/fix troubleshooting
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and ladder logic
- Troubleshoot PLC systems (Allen-Bradley & Siemens preferred)
- Identify and resolve issues—even without schematics
- Support and improve conveyor systems, motors, and automation equipment
- Install, test, and upgrade electrical components and systems
- Train and mentor less experienced technicians
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with site leadership
- Uphold and promote a strong safety culture at all times
What Makes You a Great Fit
- 10+ years of hands-on electrical or multi-craft maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial environments
- Experience with PLCs, drives, motors, and control systems
- Ability to adapt quickly and work independently at customer sites
- Strong communication skills and customer-facing professionalism
- Willingness to travel 75%+ and work flexible schedules
Preferred Qualifications
- Master Electrician, Journeyman, or equivalent experience
- Background in instrumentation & controls
- Experience with automation systems and advanced troubleshooting
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel / Google Suite
Physical & Work Environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments
- Comfortable working at heights, in tight spaces, and in varying conditions
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, bend, and maneuver throughout job sites
- Ability to safely work on industrial surfaces and wear required PPE
