About the Role

Pro Services is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for a direct-hire opportunity with one of our long-standing manufacturing partners in Indianapolis. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to build a career in industrial maintenance — not just punch a clock. You'll work on sorting, grinding, and washing equipment, tackle electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and be part of a team that takes pride in keeping operations running.

Schedule

  • Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM, 2-2-3 rotation
  • Overtime available as business needs require

What You'll Do

  • Maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems — including motors, pumps, and conveyors
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex electromechanical equipment independently
  • Read, troubleshoot, and program basic PLC instructions (Allen-Bradley)
  • Assist with new equipment installs and coordinate maintenance schedules with vendors
  • Complete work orders, field service reports, and daily logs
  • Communicate clearly with supervisors and operators, and share what you learn to help prevent repeat issues
  • Follow all safety protocols

What You Bring

  • 1-3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar hands-on trade
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, pumps, and conveyors
  • Enough electrical knowledge to work safely around industrial systems
  • A self-starter mindset — someone who takes initiative and doesn't wait to be told twice
  • Motivated to keep learning and building new skills
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent (trade school a plus)

Physical Requirements

  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Climbing ladders, stairs, and scaffolding; working in tight spaces
  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 lbs
  • Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Wearing required PPE
