We are seeking a skilled an Epic Beaker/WellSky Blood Bank Analyst to join our team. 
The Epic Beaker & WellSky Blood Bank Analyst will support the clinical laboratory and transfusion services by maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting two critical systems: Epic Beaker (Clinical Pathology andor Anatomic Pathology) and WellSky Blood Bank. This role ensures accurate, safe, and efficient laboratory and blood bank workflows by partnering closely with lab leadership, medical technologists, transfusion services, and IT teams. The analyst provides production support, system configuration, and workflow improvements across both platforms. In addition, BPAM, WellSky Blood Bank, Data Innovations, SQL, SSRS, WellSky server maintenance experience is highly sought after for this role. 
 
Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize Beaker build including test definitions, specimen workflows, result entry, routing, and analyzer interfaces.
• Support laboratory workflows such as accessioning, specimen processing, result verification, and reporting.
• Troubleshoot issues related to lab orders, result flows, instrument connectivity, and workqueues.
• Assist with configuration of lab sections, specimen collection workflows, labels, and result formatting.
• Participate in upgrade testing, validation, and implementation of new Beaker features or enhancements.
• Collaborate with lab supervisors and technologists to improve efficiency and accuracy in lab operations.
• Support and maintain WellSky Blood Bank build including product definitions, crossmatch workflows, antibody screens, and transfusion documentation.
• Troubleshoot issues related to blood product inventory, compatibility testing, result entry, and system alerts.
• Assist with configuration of rules, safety checks, and workflows that support transfusion medicine best practices.
• Work with transfusion services staff to ensure compliance with regulatory standards (AABB, CAP, FDA).
• Support interface monitoring and troubleshooting between WellSky, Epic, and laboratory instruments.
• Participate in validation and testing for upgrades, new blood products, and workflow changes.
• Provide tier‑2/3 production support, resolving incidents, break/fix issues, and service requests.
• Monitor system performance and identify opportunities for workflow optimization.
• Maintain accurate documentation of build, workflows, and support processes.
• Participate in change control, governance, and release management activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Lab, Transfusion Services, Integration, Reporting, and Compliance.
• Assist with training materials, tip sheets, and communication for new features or workflow updates.

Key Qualifications

• Experience working in a clinical laboratory or transfusion services environment.
• Strong understanding of laboratory workflows, terminology, and regulatory requirements.
• BPAM experience
• WellSky Blood Bank Experience
• Data Innovations experience 
• SQL and SSRS experience
• Technical aptitude and willingness to learn Epic Beaker and WellSky Blood Bank systems.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with clinical and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
