Epic PB Workday Analyst

Job TypeContract

We are seeking an experienced Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst to support post–go-live stabilization efforts following our Workday conversion, which went live on January 1. While Workday is live, we continue to work through historical conversion clean-up and ongoing PB-related issues that are taking longer than anticipated to fully resolve.
This role is ideal for a former Epic PB implementer or senior PB consultant who brings strong technical expertise, understands downstream impacts of conversions, and can also help organize, prioritize, and guide work efforts in partnership with our internal team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with internal Revenue Cycle, IT, and Finance teams to support Epic PB stabilization efforts related to the Workday conversion.
  • Assist with historical data conversion validation, cleanup, and corrections, ensuring PB data is complete, accurate, and aligned with downstream workflows.
  • Analyze and resolve PB configuration, integration, and data issues arising from the conversion.
  • Help guide and prioritize fixes for new PB issues that surface post–go-live.
  • Provide hands-on Epic PB analysis, troubleshooting, and build support as needed.
  • Act as a project-oriented partner, helping the team track work, sequence efforts, and drive issues through to resolution.
  • Serve as a subject-matter expert and sounding board for best practices related to Epic PB and revenue cycle conversions.
  • Document findings, decisions, and recommendations to support long-term stability.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong experience as an Epic Professional Billing (PB) Analyst, preferably in implementation or post–go-live stabilization roles.
  • Prior experience supporting Epic PB during a major system conversion (e.g., ERP, payroll, finance, or revenue cycle–adjacent systems).
  • Hands-on technical skills with PB configuration, workflows, and data analysis.
  • Ability to work through historical data issues, reconciliation challenges, and complex troubleshooting scenarios.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Revenue Cycle, Finance, IT).
  • Comfortable operating in an ambiguous, fast-moving environment where priorities evolve.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
