Podiatrist (DPM)

Compensation: $190K-$210K

Job Type: Full-time, in-person.

We are seeking a full-time, in-person Podiatrist (Doctor of Podiatric Medicine) to join a well-established, multidisciplinary outpatient medical practice in the New York metropolitan area. This role focuses on comprehensive foot and ankle care, with a strong emphasis on patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and vascular disease. The position offers the opportunity to collaborate closely with physicians and clinical staff in a coordinated care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of foot and ankle conditions in an outpatient clinical setting
• Manage diabetic foot care, wound care, nail disorders, biomechanical issues, and common podiatric pathologies
• Perform in-office procedures, including nail care, debridement, minor surgical procedures, and orthotic management
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate treatment for patients with complex medical conditions
• Educate patients on preventive foot care, treatment plans, and long-term condition management
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and practice standards

Qualifications

• Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited program
• Active state podiatry license in good standing (New York required)
• Board certified or board eligible preferred
• Experience with diabetic foot care, wound management, and outpatient podiatry strongly preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach to care
