General Cardiologist - Central Pennsylvania
A leading healthcare employer in central Pennsylvania has an opportunity for a non-invasive cardiologist to join an established practice at one of its first dedicated heart care centers. The practice has a solid patient base and a team of interventionalists, non-invasive cardiologist, electrophysiologists, and a heart failure specialist, supported by multiple PAs and nurse practitioners. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with a good balance of inpatient and outpatient work and a 1:5 call rotation.
The hospital's cath lab has served more than 3,000 patients and added TAVR and Watchman procedures in 2019. The cardiology team works alongside vascular and cardiothoracic surgeons who are part of the system's heart and vascular institute, which gives a practicing cardiologist surgical backup and access to a full range of structural care.
The compensation package includes an initial income guarantee, sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, annual CME allowance and days, and PTO. Benefits include health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, retirement benefits, and occurrence-based malpractice coverage.
