A prominent healthcare employer with offices in the suburbs of Orlando is currently seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to work in their Clermont Florida office. 

This exciting opportunity involves providing both outpatient and inpatient care in the field of cardiology. This full time opportunity requires care to the Clermont hospital-based coverage area. While fluency in Spanish is considered a significant advantage, it is not a mandatory requirement.

Responsibilities:

  • Work M-F (with an alternate flex schedule)
  • 1 Weekend a Month and 1 Night call
  • Collaborate closely with a supervising physician to deliver efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality outpatient care.
  • Perform a variety of tasks traditionally carried out by physicians to diagnose and treat patient conditions.
  • Adhere to established regulations and guidelines that define the scope of practice for physician assistants.
  • Act as an extension of the physician, ensuring exceptional patient care and attention.

Qualifications/Knowledge/Skills:

  • Valid registration with the Medical Licensing Board of Florida.
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Nurse Practitioners.
  • Up-to-date CPR certification.
  • Proficient knowledge and practical skills for patient diagnosis and treatment.
  • Strong ability to educate and counsel patients and their families on medications, diseases, treatment plans, procedures, and preventive healthcare.
  • Completion of a master's degree or higher from an accredited School of Nurse Practitioner training program.
