Mission

Lead the company to sustainable, profitable growth by driving operational excellence, maximizing output and efficiency, and optimizing costs, while building high-performing teams and fostering strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure market competitiveness and long-term value creation.

 
Main Responsibilities
  • Full P&L responsibility with clear focus on profitability, sustainable margin expansion, and cash generation
  • Drive operational excellence to maximize output, productivity, and capacity utilization across the entire plant and ensure optimal delivery fulfillment to customers
  • Lead end-to-end business processes including sales, distribution, operations, supply chain, quality, finance, HR, IT, and commercial support functions
  • Execute cost optimization initiatives across materials, logistics, production, overhead, and organizational structures
  • Implement and institutionalize Lean and continuous improvement principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Poka-Yoke) to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
  • Optimize working capital with strong focus on inventory management, safety stock reduction, and supplier integration
  • Define and execute capital investment strategy to ensure operational reliability, efficiency, and long-term competitiveness
  • Build and lead a high-performance leadership team; develop key talent and ensure organizational effectiveness aligned with growth objectives
  • Drive strategic transformation and performance improvement programs in close cooperation with the Head of Business Development Operations
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including regular collaboration with corporate headquarters leadership and department heads
  • Ensure constructive engagement with unions, key suppliers, and customers while fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and pride
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required to support business objectives and global alignment

  • Get to know the organization and establish a relationship with all relevant stakeholders

  • Contribute to meeting or exceeding the annually agreed budget and continuing market growth and on profitability
  • Support the Director of Sales to establish or develop a strong sales force
  • Set a 5-year growth plan for US entity
  • Implement/Develop business with additional or new products
  • Meet or over exceed annually agreed budget
  • Continue market growth with optimized marketing and product management concepts
  • Reduce dependence on a few product units – introduce other available product groups from the Group portfolio to the market
  • Further develop the team and sales force to increase market shares
  • Find new sectors, customers etc. to develop sustainable growth
  • Lead the successful setup and operational launch of the new Houston site, ensuring alignment with corporate standards and market requirements

Education & Professional Background
  • Completed technical university degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in a global corporate structure, with a strong understanding of cross-cultural collaboration, and experience with European, preferably German, companies
  • Experience as a Managing Director or senior executive (5 years plus minimum) in the electrical infrastructure or related industries (e.g., energy, utilities, industrial systems), with a track record of driving business success and growth
