Outside Sales Engineer– Canada (Full-Time)
Our client is seeking an experienced Outside Sales Engineer to support and grow our presence in the Canadian market.
Our client delivers high-quality roller chains, engineered chains, and sprockets, along with logistics and storage solutions to a wide range of industrial customers across North and South America.
Role Overview
This position is focused on business development and key account management within a defined region, supporting industries such as:
- Cement
- Bulk material handling
- Steel
- Automotive manufacturing
- Amusement parks
- Food production
- Heavy industrial applications
You will play a key role in expanding market share while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan targeting OEMs and end-users
- Build and maintain relationships through in-person visits and virtual meetings
- Drive new business development while protecting and growing existing accounts
- Collaborate with Inside Sales and Product Management on quotes, orders, and technical solutions
- Manage project pipelines and ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction
- Lead negotiations and commercial discussions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred)
OR 5+ years of relevant sales experience in power transmission products - Experience in industries such as cement, steel, or automotive manufacturing is a plus
- Strong communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills
- Solid business acumen and analytical ability
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically + occasional international travel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (SAP experience is a plus)
- German or Spanish language skills are helpful, but not required
