Warehouse Associate
Key Responsibilities
- Shipping & Receiving Unloading & Loading of shipments, checking for damages and verifying amounts, properly packaging and securing orders for shipping, Picking shipping of stock parts
- Inventory Management Organizing and managing stock inventory, reordering stock, and regular inventory counts are needed
- Equipment Operation Safely operating machinery such as forklifts, hand trucks and pallet jacks
- Fleet Maintenance responsible for keeping the company vehicles up-to-date with maintenance, DOT and emissions certifications
- Safety & Maintenance Following Safety regulations (OSHA), Maintain a clean and organized workspace and document activities
Qualifications
- Ability to lift up to 50-75 lbs and stand/walk for long periods
- Attention to detail to ensure orders are packaged accurately and securely to prevent damage or errors
- Ability to use comment hand tools and circular saw, Hack saw, cordless drill for modifying/building crates if needed
- Experience with inventory software (Sage 300) is preferred but not a must, and basic Microsoft knowledge of Excel, Word, and Outlook is preferred
- 2 years of Warehouse experience is preferred
- High school diploma or GED is generally required
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; no sponsorship available for this position
