Our client, in the legal services industry is seeking a driven and motivated LITIGATION LAWYER, who will be responsible for civil and commercial litigation files, real estate disputes, liens, collections etc.

Our client – being a renowned in the heart of London and Toronto Ontario is a law firm focused on providing quality, cost-effective legal services to individuals & businesses throughout Southwestern Ontario with a focus on the areas of real estate, business law, estate law, civil, and commercial litigation. The lawyers have decades of combined experience successfully resolving cases involving complex legal issues. The firm is expanding the team and is looking for a talented and ambitious Litigation Lawyer who will contribute to the success of the firm and to become a beacon of modernized and accessible legal services with a vision to revolutionize the industry.

As a Litigation Lawyer, you will be responsible for representing clients in civil litigation cases. You will conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and prepare for court hearings and trials, if needed. Your role will also involve negotiating settlements on behalf of clients and providing them with legal advice.

Roles and Responsbilities

• Handle Civil and Commercial litigation file.
• Resolve real estate disputes, liens, and collections concern.
• Represent clients in civil litigation case.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Advise and provide clients on legal rights, obligations, and options.

LISTED QUALIFICATIONS:

-        Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school (preferred)

-        5+ years experience in civil and commercial litigation

-        Valid driver’s license and access to reliable vehicle in case of travel needs

-        Experience in real estate disputes, collections, liens and etc.

-        Admission to the state bar association

-        Strong knowledge of civil litigation laws and procedures

-        Excellent legal research and writing skills.

-        Proficiency in using legal research tools such as Lexis-Nexis.

-        Strong negotiation skills

-        Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
